Cooking Master Boy

I remember back then watching this Japanese anime that was shown in a cable channel. It was about this simple boy who has the talent of cooking because of his "golden hand." This golden hand channels energy and power that it brings out the best flavors of a certain viand or a certain food. He then proceeded to a quest all over his country so that he could improve his cooking skills and even joined cooking competitions which pitted him against the best cooking masters of his country. It was fun to watch because these cooking tournaments are designed like a martial arts tournament. The conversation would run something like what you hear in an old Asian kung fu movie. You know those films that bred Bruce Lee, Jet Li and Jackie Chan back in the 70s and 80s? You do not know how they sound like? Well, let me give you a sample: "You do not mess with me boy. I know the secret Buddha stirring spoon technique!" or "You want to test my cooking skills? You will regret ever knowing the Carrot clan!" or "I am the feared pork dimsum master of the dreaded hog region!" Try this one: "Feel the wrath of my dragon scaled skillet!"

The lines are horrible and cheesy, right? But nobody expects to get some intellectual discourses with watching cartoons. You cannot find issues concerning global warming and global hunger and worldwide recession while watching it. Cooking Master Boy is an anime that is all fun with a lot of heart. The good thing about this, is that you will get some basic lessons about loyalty, friendship, and courage. From the title, we can gleam that the boy was made a cooking master. It is heart warming to see that hard work and determination is rewarded after all and that good always triumphs over evil.

Now that I have babbled on and on about Cooking Master Boy, I began to wonder why my train of thought jumped to my childhood anime anyway. Let me just back track a little. I feel like I reallyss getting old. I remember cooking master boy because I was thinking about cooking. I was thinking about cooking because this morning I was playing cooking games! Ah, yes, cooking games. Now I am a total incompetent in the kitchen. My family knows I am there because the place would look like Chernobyl. Ironically, I love to cook but cooking doesn't agree with me, so I have to find a way of doing that without burning the house down and that is where cooking games come in. Cooking games simulate some basic cooking method in one website. I learned to bake blueberry muffins and some cakes using these games. A virtual kitchen heaven is this site. I am glad to have discovered cooking games for I have saved a lot of furniture back home from future untold catastrophes that my cooking experiments will lead me.

Great Indian Cooking Ingredients

Indian Spices

Indian spices are heated in the pan with ghee or cooking oil to intensify the flavor before putting in food. Indian spices contain a variety of herbs and spices grown across the Indian subcontinent. There are many basic Indian spices such as cumin seeds, turmeric, coriander seeds, chili powder, mustard seeds and asafetida.

Cumin seeds are commonly used in North India and it can be roasted as well as grounded or fried whole in heated oil. The turmeric is used mostly for its medical properties and the chili powder is also used for its fiery and pungent taste. Coriander seeds are mainly used for its soothing and cooling taste. Mustard seeds are commonly used in western and southern India and for its strong flavor. The asafetida is also a basic Indian spice, used to achieve a sulfuric taste.

Most of the significant spices in Indian cuisine are asafetida coriander, ginger, fenugreek, turmeric, cumin, black mustard seed and chili pepper. Another significant Indian spice is the garam masala that contains more than 5 dried spices, commonly clove, cinnamon and cardamom.

India also has numerous herbs and spices. Indian spices are used in bhuna, curry, haldi, tadka, masala, jeera and tandoori. Bhuna is a process of cooking Indian spices in hot oil. Bhuna is usually used in order to preserve and release the taste of spices. Tadka is also a method used for cooking Indian spices.

Curry is one of the popular foods in India made up of several spices mixed. The common Indian curry is made of coriander, cloves and black pepper as well as red pepper, turmeric, fenugreek and other Indian spices. Masala is an Indian term that means mixture of spices cooked in hot oil. Garam Masala is a popular version of masala, used in making numerous Indian food recipes such as curry. Cooking Fish The Easy Way

Americans tend to eat twice as many fish dinners at restaurants as they do at home largely because they are unsure how to properly prepare fish. Here are some easy and common sense tips about cooking fish at home.

Fish should be purchased either frozen or very fresh at the market. Since fish is delicate, fresh fish should not be refrigerated for more than one or two days. Frozen fish should be well thawed before it is cooked and both frozen and fresh fish should be well dried before cooking.

One of the most popular methods of cooking fish is to pan fry it in a shallow amount of oil. White fish should be coated before it is pan fried in order to protect the delicate flesh from the heat. A coating of seasoned white or wholemeal flour or a mixture of flour, beaten egg and fine bread crumbs is sufficient.

Olive oil or a combination of oil and butter will give the fish a tasty crispness. The oil should be shallow, about 1/8 inch, and should be preheated in a cast iron or heavy skillet over medium heat to about 365 degrees F. This is hot enough to make a small cube of bread sizzle loudly and brown up in about 45 seconds. Place a few pieces of coated fish into the skillet without crowding and cook them for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Thicker pieces should cook for 5 to 6 minutes on the first side and for about 4 minutes on the other side.

Avoid overcooking the fish because overcooking will cause it to taste dry and tough. White fish will change from a translucent color to an opaque color when cooked and will begin to flake when it is done. Fish that flakes too easily is an indication that it may be dry and overcooked.

Grilling is a great way to cook sturdier fish such as grouper, salmon, tuna, and swordfish. Just be sure that the grill is preheated and is cleaned and lightly oiled so that the fish will not stick to it. The sturdier fish may be cooked with a light coating or without any coating. More delicate fillets should be coated and grilled in a grill basket or grilled on a heavy duty sheet of foil.

One of the easiest ways to cook fish is to bake it. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and place the seasoned, coated fish onto a lightly oiled baking sheet or shallow baking pan. Bake the fish for about 10 minutes per inch of thickness. As with pan frying, the white fish is properly cooked when its color turns opaque and it begi00003295ns to flake when a fork is inserted into the center.

Oven broiling is another great way to produce delicious cooked fish. Season and coat the fish well ahead of time. Preheat the broiler and place the fish 5 to 6 inches beneath the broiler. Watch the fish carefully to avoid overcooking. Thicker fillets should be turned halfway through cooking.

The microwave oven can be used to cook a delicious fish dish. Use your favorite recipe for coating and seasoning and try to make the fillets even thickness for best results. Thinner sections of the fish can be folded under each other to help make the fillet an even thickness. Rotate the fish halfway through the cooking time if the microwave oven does not have a turntable. Let the fish stand for a few minutes to finish cooking. Use the color and flake tests to check if fully cooked.

Lastly, fish can be steamed or poached with excellent results. To steam the fish, place it in a metal or bamboo steamer. Place the steamer into a saucepan that has water or stock that has been seasoned with lemon, ginger, or any seasonings from your favorite recipe. It is important that the liquid reaches a simmering temperature but not a boiling temperature. Similarly, the fish can be poached by lowering it into a liquid that is simmering but not boiling. A boiling liquid will cook the fish too quickly and cause the outside of the fish to overcook. The poaching liquid can contain any aromatic herb or vegetable that you enjoy. Cooking times are only a few minutes and depend on the thickness of the fish. As always, test the fish if fully cooked with the color and flake tests.

These easy and common sense tips should give confidence to the preparation of fish dinners at home. Fish is a delicious source of protein and should be included regularly in a healthy diet.

Selecting a Good Hiking Trail

The type and location of the trail you select can play a significant role in determining the enjoyment you get from a hiking experience. Before heading out on your next hike, evaluate the trail based on the following criteria.

Define Your Objectives: Select a trail according to your planned activities. Hikers hoping to photograph wildlife are going to want a quiet, secluded trail that sees little foot-traffic. Short trails over easy terrain are better suited to hiking with children. A trail with miles of ups and downs will be great for physical conditioning.

Consider Your Level of Experience: If you're going to hike alone, take an honest assessment of your experience and physical abilities. Are you in good shape or has your physical activity been limited? Can you navigate with a compass and map? If you have a cell phone, take it along. Realize though, that it may not work on the trail and if something goes wrong, you need to know what to do. Unless you have a lot of experience, don't hike alone.

If you're hiking with a group, select trails based on those with the least amount of ability and experience. If you want to reach the summit of mount Buena Vista, make sure you hike with companions that can reach the top. Novices should start on shorter trails over easy terrain until they are comfortable with navigation and carrying a backpack.

Account for Distance & Time: It's easy to underestimate the time you need to complete a hike. This can turn a planned 3-hour hike into a 6-hour ordeal. A good rule of thumb is to plan on 5-10 miles per day over moderate terrain if carrying a full load. On flat terrain, you'll probably cover a mile in about 30 minutes. For every 1,000 feet you gain in elevation add another hour. For every 1,000 feet you lose in elevation add 30 minutes. Factor in 5 minutes of rest for every hour hiked and remember that multi-day trips should include a full rest day for every 4-6 days on the trail.

Location Matters: The trail you select should have ample links to other trails or alternative routes should you find a section closed or in case of a medical emergency. If you're going on a multi-day trip, make sure the trail comes within close proximity to water, campsites and places to re-provision if necessary. Don't hike trails (however well-marked) that don't have a map.

Factor in Weather: Seasons affect the hours of available daylight and use patterns on a trail. Check local weather forecasts. Certain patterns (sudden storms, for example) are more typical of certain seasons. Don't forget to take into account variables that might affect the weather like changes in altitude along the trail.

Rules & Regulations: Regulations or restrictions on group size limits, campfires, hunting or breeding seasons may be in affect in areas around certain trails. Check with park or trail officials regarding any restrictions or necessary permits that may apply to the trail you're considering.

720p Vs 1080i HDTV

Is 720p vs 1080i worth being concerned about? Yes and no. If you're a consumer looking for a new TV, you can happily ignore the 720p vs 1080i debate because every TV which is described as HDTV or HDTV Ready is required to support both formats.

NOTE: You should be aware though that lots of TVs which support 1080i have fewer than 1080 lines and so scale the 1080 signal down. That's not a huge issue as even scaled down 1080i is far ahead of a regular NTSC signal. It is worth bearing in mind that more expensive HDTVs tend to have better scalers than cheaper ones, and this may be an issue.

However, for broadcasters it's a live issue. Should they broadcast 1080 lines of interlaced video or 720 lines of progressive scan? They could just broadcast two signals, one in each format, but that would use up a huge chunk of bandwidth and be hugely expensive for very little gain.

To answer the question, it's important to understand the difference between 720p vs 1080i. A 720p signal is made up of 720 horizontal lines. Each frame is displayed in its entirety on-screen for 1/30th of a second. This is know as progressive scan (hence the 'p')The quality is like watching 30 photographic images a second on TV. A 1080i signal comprises 1080 horizontal lines but all the lines are not displayed on-screen simultaneously. Instead, they are interlaced (hence the 'i'), ie every other lines is displayed for 1/60th of a second and then the alternate lines are displayed for 1/60th of a second. So, the frame rate is still 30 frames per second, but each frame is split into two fields, which your brain then puts together subconsciously.

Most of the time interlacing works fine, but for fast moving images, such as sports like baseball and hockey it can cause problems which manifest themselves as a 'stepping' effect on-screen. Progressive scan signals don't have this problem and so are better suited to sports.

ESPN puts it like this: 'Progressive scan technology produces better images for the fast moving orienta000006A3tion of sports television. Simply put, with 104 mph fastballs in baseball and 120 mph shots on goal in hockey, the line-by-line basis of progressive scan technology better captures the inherent fast action of sports. For ESPN, progressive scan technology makes perfect sense.'

Bottom line? For us, as consumers 720p vs 1080i is not a debate worth worrying about, so you can relax and focus on all the other criteria on your list when you buy your next HDTV.

The Livescribe Pulse Smartpen Might Actually Make You Smarter

If I had had the Livescribe Pulse Smartpen when I was in college, I think I would have been a happier student. You see, I'm an auditory learner. I absorb information by hearing things more than seeing them. Shapes and words remind me of sounds, and that's how I commit things to memory. I make flash cards, but I have to read them out loud as I study. In fact, my most effective method of memorizing facts is to record an audio tape where I say the question, leave a blank space of silence for me to answer when I listen to it, and then say the answer. I listen to the tape over and over, jumping in with the answers, until all the facts are firmly in my brain.

The one problem this causes with class notes and lectures is that, when I try to translate the words and sounds of a lecture, which my brain processes so easily, into written down words on a paper - while at the same time trying to pay attention to what's being said and not miss anything - I inevitably end up missing something. Not only that, but when it comes time to study for the test, more often than not, my experience of looking back at the notes is to gaze at the words on the paper and have an overwhelming sense of wondering why I wrote them. It's difficult to connect them back to the words that the professor was speaking at the time I wrote them down.

Well, with the Livescribe Pulse Smartpen, all of that could have been a thing of the past.

The Smartpen is a new invention that is causing quite a buzz around the web. It is a pen which roughly the size of a Magic Marker, and contained within it is either a one gigabyte or two gigabyte computer system (depending on which model you've decided to purchase).

It comes with proprietary paper, which you can either buy in spiral bound notebooks or print at home for free, which contains a command line on the bottom of each sheet. In those commands, you will find drawings that tell the pen to start recording, stop recording, playback faster, playback slower, jump ahead, or jump back.

When the pen starts recording is when the real genius of the concept begins. It not only records everything that it writes on the paper, it records all of the audio that is occurring in the room simultaneously as you are writing. The computer system inside the pen is able to sync the two together, so when you playback, you can tap any part of your notes and hear exactly what was said at that moment when you wrote them.

The incredibly useful and innovative features don't stop there, however. When you get back to your home computer, be it a desktop or a laptop, you can plug the pen into its personalized docking station and do a data dump onto your hard drive. It transfers your pages of written notes and the synced up audio into files on your computer. You can archive those files, or you can share them online. Best of all, they are keyword searchable.

The sharing feature would be particularly useful if people were in study groups. Or, to take it outside of a college setting and imagine a business application, if a company were to send a group of three employees to a conference, they could all attend different breakout sessions during the small group portions, and then post their notes, complete with audio, on the company server as an archived resource for all employees to benefit from.

Ultimately, in fact, I think that the Smartpen has many practical applications beyond taking notes in college - I feel that, just like an actual college student, it's real future is in the business sector.

Where to Buy a Kindle Instantly - Product Reviews For the Technically Challenged

Looking to buy a Kindle for yourself, friends, family or loved ones? The Kindle is truly a high tech gadget even if you are technically challenged. The product 's features, ease of use and overall design make this a "Gotta Have " for 2008 and beyond.

Don't let the size fool you! The Kindle is 7.5" x 5.3" x 0.7" and weighs a mere 10.3 ounces. The compact design allows ease of storage in a purse, hand bag, brief case or back pack. This unit goes where any paperback book travels without the bulkiness. It can store over 200 ebooks straight from the factory and with a small investment of a digital media card (2 MB) this number could double.

The Kindle is packed with the latest technology of a laptop; however, one third its' size. It operates, searches and downloads wireless over a 3G network (same network used for cell phones). Thus eliminating the cumbersome USB cords and frantic searches to find a WIFI hot spot. The real beauty is that there are no monthly contracts or costs involved for the wireless features. You can surf, search, shop, read and download items in basically any location that has cell phone service! You can search WIKIs (basically like an encyclopedia internet site), read blogs, use the built in dictionary, view Microsoft documents, download books, magazines, newspapers and audio books all while on the go. There are currently over 190,000 available downloads as of the date of this article. You can sample the ebook for free prior to purchase. What a bonus!

The well planned design of the Kindle has numerous benefits. The high resolution screen called "electronic paper" amazingly resembles viewing an actual newspaper or paper paged book. The text size can be easily adjusted for tired eyes and there is virtually no screen glare to battle with. The Kindle preforms amazingly well in direct sun light while you catch rays by the pool. The Kindle can be operated in one hand and the QWERTY keyboard allows for fast typing for both right and left handed users. The well thought out ergonomic buttons and thumb scrolling abilities make page viewing fast and easy. The battery can be fully charged in two hours and should provide four to six hours of continual use.

Here are a few tips to extend the battery life:

1. Turn the device off when not in use instead of just keeping it in sleep mode

2. Only turn the wireless feature on when actively downloading, searching or shopping on line. This will greatly enhance the battery life

I would recommend any user to purchase and extra battery when you buy a Kindle. They are very inexpensive and well worth it!

In summary, the Kindle is a high tech gadget that truly anyone can use. If you are intimidated by technology, you can put your mind at ease when you buy Kindle.

I hope this information was helpful and informative. Additional information can be found on where to buy Kindle.

Flat Screens

Flat screens TVs have an advantage over other televisions in that they have resolutions which are better than the others. The design is also an edge over the others. Thanks to the technology utilizing liquid crystal display, an LCD monitor can generate 16.7 million colors. This means that even the tiniest shade of color can be detected. LCD TVs occupy lesser space and they are very easy to transport as well.

The LCD TV monitors can also function as a computer. You can also install audio visual and attach speakers and woofers to complete your home theater experience. Considering this, why would you not want to buy a flat screen TV?

The liquid crystal display monitors blocks unwanted colors from the white spectrum. They have a large number of pixels which bend and revolve at suitable angles to be able to produce an image. These pixels are illumined by an LCD projector which allows the designs of these LCD TV to be compact. It is also for this reason that even though at an obtuse angle, these LCD monitors produce high quality images.

The screens of this flat screen TV have no glares which is very relaxing to the eyes even you view it at a close distance. Light that falls on these monitor have very little or no effect at all. You can even place it at a very bright room and its quality will be the same as when placed in a dark room.

Generally, sizes of LCD monitors are at 19", 20", 21", and 23" or more. Smaller ones are available in 14 and 17 inches. But regardless of the sizes of the monitors, LCD television monitors deliver quality images. Some complaints regarding LCD televisions include having high burn rates, cannot run high density games, and having ghosting effects. Burn rates mean that the picture remains on the pixel for a quite extended period of time. But anyway, improvements in these regard are being made to make this monitors as close to perfect as possible.

Buttons of these LCD TV monitors are small in order to make the LCD televisions achieve a sleek design. But sometimes this becomes an issue whenever the buttons are very small that they become unreadable.

There is a new LCD television that is being developed. In this new model, the viewer will be able to watch different programs on the same television by simply changing the angle of viewing.

Short Hairstyles For Black Men

Nothing looks better than a black man with a nice, short hairstyle. Luckily, it is very trendy to wear your hair short and you have many different options. Additionally, short hair allows for more convenience and ease of care. Depending on what you choose as a short hairstyle for black men, your new look could make all the difference in how you appear in both your professional and social life.

If you love the classic look of dreadlocks but you want to look clean and sharp, you can have short dreadlocks! You no longer need to have long dreadlocks in order for them to be stylish. Short dreadlocks allow the face to stay clear while looking neat and classy.

The afro is a statement all its own, but you don't have to have the biggest afro in the area to have a stylish look. A short afro shows that any man is attractive yet at the same time tasteful. If the short afro is still a bit too much maintenance for you, consider getting your hair cut down as much as possible without going completely bald. You not only have the neatest hairstyle, but you also have the easiest hair to care for! Going that short may not be comfortable for some, so find a compromise and get a very simple, yet classic hair cut.

One of the most overlooked short hairstyles for black men is going absolutely bald. Shaving your head is cutting your hair so therefore, it is a haircut! The only restriction to going completely bald is to make sure you have a good-shaped head. If you have an oddly shaped head, the absence of hair will only draw attention to it and your shaved hairstyle will become irrelevant.

Finally, men are very lucky to have some true artists available at barbershops and hair salons. These people can take cornrows to an entirely new level. Depending on what you want from your short hairstyle for black men, a creative cornrow might just be the way to go!

Photoshop Pencil Portrait

This tutorial will explain the techniques I use to create digital pencil portraits in Photoshop. I have been doing these for a few years now and have searched the web for some techniques of how to do this. I have tweaked what I learned to give this tutorial a more accurate (and pleasing I might add) rendering.

There are some things that can be done in advance before the photograph is taken to help give a more pleasing result. For instance, having a white background helps to have a cleaner separation of the subject. Also, having the subject wear white (or some other light color) clothing is a big plus as it helps draw the viewer to the person's face. Though these tips are helpful, they are not absolutely required.

Okay, let's begin!

1.Open the image in Photoshop.

2.Create a copy of the background layer by pressing Control J on your keyboard. Now invert the new layer by pressing...
Control I.

3.Convert image to grayscale by clicking (Imageand chose NOT to flatten or merge the image.

4.Set layer mode to color dodge... this will make the layer
look almost completely white.

5.Now bring out some of the pencil strokes by applying a Gaussian blur. Filter

6.Now is the time to to use the brush ( B) on your keyboard and start painting the unwanted areas of your image white. Make sure you lower the opacity of your brush to around 20% or so, have
white selected as your foreground color, and are using a soft edge brush.

7.Now let's add some subtle shadows to the face, chest and clothing. To do so, make sure that your foreground
color is black by pressing ( D ) on your keyboard. Select your brush and lower the opacity of your brush (not layer) to 15%.
Now start painting over all the areas, that you feel needs
a shadow. Particularly, the face. There are really no rules here. Just bring out some shadows that you feel is right. This might take a little practice.

8.Now, let's add some highlights to the hair. Select white as your foreground color and make sure that the opacity of your brush is 15%. Start brushing over the lighter areas of the hair to bring out some highlights. Notice that the changes are very subtle. You don't want to over do it.

9.Now it's time to merge the layers and crop the image. Select...
Imageto it.

Why Not Make Registry Backup For Better PC Protection

When people browse websites and download things online, there will be evidence left in the registry of PCs. To avoid possible threat to our computers which may cause the loss of private information, people tend to backup registry and fix the problem of registry by recovering it to the previous status.

There are many ways to backup the registry. Usually people would like to make the backup manually: Start/Run,enter Regedit/right-click My Computer/select export/copy and save in (usually) C:Document and Settings User Name Or Start/Run, enter Regedit/right-click My Computer/select Config under System32/copy and save files named Sam, System, Software, Default and relevant log files/save in C:Document and Settings User Name The problem is that it is always difficult for one to supervise the registry manually and make necessary backups as soon as possible.

As a result, more people tend to turn to some programs so as to simplify the operation. These programs will provide constant supervision over the registry and report when there is any potential problems. But a lot of them will take up a large space and do not help to backup the registry. I myself am using a program named advanced PC tweaker which takes up a small space and functions effectively. It provides a constant supervision and helps to backup the registry in two methods. First, it allows users to backup the registry as a whole. The users can recover the registry to the previous status with this backup. Second, any time when any changes are made to the registry, the program will backup and make a record. This program makes my backup of the registry easier.

3 Tips to Consider When Buying an LCD TV

If you really want to improve your home theater viewing, go find and purchase the best LCD. At present, they are the finest electronic device to add to your home cinema. The huge screen will make you feel like you are a part of the scene. So definitely, you would want to find the perfect LCD television for your home. We have listed three of the most important factors to help you identify the most favorable LCD TV for you.

1. Forget the used LCDs. This is the first thing that you need to keep in mind is to never settle for a used television unit. Of course everybody understands the importance of finding a good deal, but purchasing used televisions especially LCDs are not really worth it. With the emergence of different models and styles of LCD TVs from top brands such as Samsung, Sharp, Sony, and Philips, prices have crashed down a little and almost everyone can afford to buy brand new. Visit as many stores as possible and surely you will find a reasonable deal. This will ensure you that the unit will work and can be repaired or returned under warranty in case problems arise.

2. Search and Explore for Features. Yes price is definitely important, but features are as important as your budget. Obviously, you purchased an LCD for entertainment purposes so make sure that the television unit you are getting has the most features a TV can offer. Do pay attention to the price but pay more attention to what the TV can give you. By considering what the unit can do for you, you get your money's worth.

3. Compare and evaluated prices and brands. Do not hesitate to do research first. Compare units from several brands, and do compare prices too. There are chances that you will get cheaper rates at different stores. This price and brand comparison may take hours of your shopping time but this will give you the advantage of paying a little for an immense entertainment quality.

Remember these three points while you are on your search for the ideal LCD TV and you will certainly find a great deal of entertainment and value for your money.

A Dream Camera From Samsung

Are you dissatisfied with your old film camera and have some disappointment with your first digital camera? Well, last July Samsung announced their new point and shoot digital camera, the TL 34HD. Amazing is not too strong a word for this state of the art camera.

If you have been beguiled by the quality photos taken by DSLRs but are reluctant to lay out two thousand dollars for a heavy, bulky camera when all you need is a pocket friendly digital camera for kids shots, vacation memories and the occasional wedding in the family.

The TL boasts state of the art features all combined in one package. Fourteen point seven mega pixels allow artifact free sharp enlargements up to 24 x 30 photographs. More important is the fact that you can crop the image severely without loss of quality. This feat is possible due to the large number of pixels, the 25% larger CMOS sensor and the advanced processing used by Samsung.

While the amateur photographer occasionally appreciates having manual controls, the average shooter would rather rely on automatic operation and foolproof results. Aiding you in this endeavor is a three inch diagonal LCD screen with 460,000 pixels of resolution rather than the usual 290K. Also helping you is the anti-glare reflection applied to the screen's surface. This amazing screen is operated by touch. Just tap your finger on the area you want from the menu and the camera does the rest. Even manual focusing can be executed this way.

Other automatic features right out of the future are: face detection, optical and digital image stabilization, 5x digital zoom, 80 to 3200 ISO sensitivity, beauty shot, and blink detection. The beauty shot can be used for smoothing blemishes for outstanding, clean portraits. The blink detection can be a shot saver when you can't go back to do it over.

The lens is the heart of a camera and the single most important quality requirement for good, sharp pictures. The TL is fitted with a Schneider 3.6X zoom lens. The equivalent range comes out to 28mm true wide angle to a decent 102mm medium telephoto. The 5x digital zoom is quite effective when necessary because of the large number of pixels you have to work with. The maximum telephoto extension comes out to about 500mm. Here the dual image stabilization is a God send. For those close up shots of flowers, engagement rings and Mother's Day cards, this lens takes macro pictures at five centimeters with the wide setting and at 50 centimeters at the telephoto setting. When you are finished taking pictures, the lens collapses flush with the body and seals itself with an electric operated lens shade.

This camera is less than four inches long and has metal construction throughout. The design is simple but eye-catching in its fashionable colors of satin silver and red, silver with a gold top or even all brushed stainless black.

I've left the best feature for last. The ability for photographers to create an instant video with sound has recently been a feature adorning many digital cameras. Unfortunately, until now, the video portion has been minimal in quality - about like an analogue television picture - and the sound screechy and distorted. Enter High Definition 1280 x 720 video and stereo sound. With only one limitation of five minutes continuous video, the TL produces an amazingly true movie, viewable on a computer monitor or an HD LCD television screen. Helpful is the Samsung HDMI cradle which allows the regular use of the TV remote. One especially useful feature is the TLs ability to pause the movie action momentarily, then continue seamlessly when ready. Previously, digital cameras created separate clips when stopped. Four qualities are available for movie production, all at thirty frames per second for a professional look. Gratefully, Samsung chose to allow zooming while videoing. I recommend a high speed 16Gb SDHC chip if you plan on using the video feature extensively.

Shutter speeds of 1/2000th to 8 full seconds can be critical to stopping action to long night time exposures. The usual features of Aperture Priority, Auto White balance, and many others are of course present. The ISO sensitivity is usually automatically chosen by the camera according to need but the higher ISO capability of this camera allows candid photography without flash in low light levels for a natural ambiance look to the photos.

A nice element is the recycle bin that stores all your photos and videos even after you delete them. You never know when you will change your mind and regret your deletion and want to retrieve them for posterity. All these features and outstanding image quality is contained in a package three inches high and weighing less than five ounces. The TL can be had for $273.00, and adding $50.00 for the cradle, $17.00 for an extra battery and $140 for an Ultra III SDHC card, you will be ready for anything.

Tarzan Would Die For One of Your Fur Scarves

Many women want to know, what is the position on animal prints and patterns in today's fashion wear? Here's our answer: Used carefully as an accent piece, the animal print or pattern can really make a wardrobe stand out. Clearly, though, too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing, such as the leopard skin pantsuit or the alligator skin skirt!

Of particular note is how well mink, rabbit, or fox designer fur scarves can look. This popular look for today will stop people in their tracks as they look to see that gorgeous piece of fur around your neck.

Keep the rest of your outfit clean and plain and simple and use this as an accent piece to draw attention to your face. Don't dress in too many different colors as this can make your outfit seem too busy. And remember that fur always looks good paired against cream.

Should you wear designer fur scarves? Yes! But be sure to choose wisely. Here are some pointers.

If your hair style is larger, choose a finer, smaller fur scarf so that the two aren't competing for attention. If you have a plain do, especially if it's swept back and off your face, you have a lot more freedom in choosing which fur designer scarves to wear.

Conscious about animal rights? Don't forget that there are many faux fur scarf options that look real and fantastic.

Additionally, all women would do well to have at least 2 or 3 silk or organza furscarves in their closet to spice up their wardrobe. These are great for neck wraps, head wraps, or even to tie around your wrist or ankle as a small piece of -flash- ...an accessory that draws attention to a great feature.

Don't forget that fur scarves aren't just for the formal event. You'll look great at the office when you add one to your work wear (a very conservative piece) and when you're out for drinks with friends after work or spending time by the lake on the weekend, a scarf shows that you're really put together without a lot of fuss or muss. Designer fur scarves are gorgeous fashion accessories that are really coming into their own this season as an accessory that the trendiest women must own. And many women are discovering just how great these are to throw away the feeling that your wardrobe is old and drab. Don't spend that money on a whole new wardrobe! Pick up a few fur scarves, mix and match, and feel like a new woman again!

They can make all the difference!

Fur scarves are becoming very popular in fashion circles. Besides keeping you warm and cozy during the cold winter months...they look good and feel good! Choose from mink, fox, rabbit, faux (fake fur) and other soft to the touch fur scarves and garments. You will absolutely love them! They look gorgeous, expensive (although they're probably not) and fashionable in all formal fashion events.

3D Graphics = 2D Graphics + Third Axis + Many Techniques

Going beyond flatland (2D graphics) is more of a challenge than merely adding another axis. Many techniques are applied together to map the high expectations of mind onto the 2D displays. To render a 3D scene, techniques such as shaping, shading, textures, lighting, reflections, hidden-surface removal, perspective projections are employed.

Shaping is the first step in 3D technology. A 3D shape can be constructed using basic geometry (polygon, simplest being triangle), mathematical modeling (equations), or graphics techniques like lofting, lathing and extrusion where a 2D object is moved over a well-defined path in 3D space. A warping technique, deformation grid, is also used. The result is usually a wire-frame model.

Shading is then used to provide skin to wire-frame model. Flat shading model is the crudest technique that does no smoothing. Gouraud shading, a smooth-shading technique, creates color gradients based on the location of an object's face with respect to a light source. But the technique lacks, sharp highlights and shadow casting. This problem is solved using another smooth-shading technique called Phong shading which is based on how we perceive the colors. It uses ambient, diffuse and specular optical properties of the material of which the 3D object is made up of.

Texturing is next step towards achieving realism of 3D object. While the ray-traced rendering use optical properties of the material, the non ray-traced rendering use mapping i.e. overlaying bitmaps over surfaces of object to create a realistic texture. Texture maps, bump maps and reflections maps are fundamental map types.

Hidden-surface removal algorithms like Z-Buffer algorithm and perspective projections are employed to create the real effect of relative positioning of objects in the 3D world.

3D visualization is different 3D graphics as the former provides interactivity as well. A user can navigate through the virtual world by changing the scene viewpoint or maneuver objects by applying operations like translation, rotation and scaling.

A 3D animation is another buzz which is basically a sequence of frames rendered at rate greater then Perception of Vision (20 frames/second).

The 3D world specified as vertices, after various transformations, is rasterized and display. This process constitutes the graphics pipeline. The graphics pipeline has following stages:

  • World Transformation
  • View Transformation
  • Projection Transformation
  • Clipping and Viewport Scaling

Drawing Cars - Hand Sketching Vs 3D Modeling

In the age of computers, virtual reality and 3D modeling, why are hand sketching skills still such a vital part of the car design process?

Hand sketching is still the best way of getting ideas out of the designer's head and onto paper quickly and efficiently. 3D modeling requires manipulating software to get the result that the designer wants. This process is often slow and cumbersome. Manipulating your hand to draw the line you want it to draw is much faster and easier.

To build a 3D model of one concept can take days. To do a hand sketch of one concept can be done in an hour or two. This means many ideas can be explored far more efficiently and less time is invested into each idea. Often when concepts are presented for consideration they are dismissed instantly. If little time has been invested into that concept, then little has been lost.

Even in high end design programs, such as Alias that many automotive designers use, the base drawing is done by hand on a digital tablet. Even though the drawing is done directly onto the computer through the tablet, it is still the designer's hand making the moves. As this is most direct way to bring an idea from inside their head to life.

Remember, computers are just another tool like pencils and markers. If you want to be a car designer, practice your freehand car drawing skills and you will not only produce more concepts but better designs as well.

Tim Rugendyke is a professional transportation designer who has worked at both Ford and General Motors during his 15 years plus in the industry. Tim is also the author of 'How To Draw Cars Fast and Easy' which reveals the insider secrets to get you drawing amazing cars fast and easy...even if you've never drawn a thing in your life before. Xbox 360 Shutting Off and Red Lights - How Do I Fix It?

It's a worrying experience, seeing your Xbox 360 shutting off, red lights appearing in the power switch on the front of the console, and your games not working at all. Learn what the causes are of this annoying problem, as well as how you can fix it yourself for the smallest possible investment of time, difficulty and money.

Most of the time, the reason behind your Xbox 360 shutting off will be one of two main things. The most common of these is overheating. As the Xbox 360 is essentially just a powerful gaming computer that has been shrunken down into a smaller case, it produces a large amount of heat when under heavy use (i.e. when gaming) Too much heat builds up too quickly due to a poor heat removal system and few fans and heat sinks. This then causes the 360 to shut off, and display the red lights on the power ring so that you are aware that something rather major has gone wrong.

The other main cause of the red ring problem is that of general hardware failure. Basically, this is where one or more components have simply stopped working properly. Common examples of this include a loose graphics processor, or loose memory chips. Either overheating or hardware failure will result in the same thing- you not being able to use your Xbox 360 until it is fixed.

Whilst it is possible to send your console to Microsoft to have it repaired, the best way to fix the shutting down problem on your Xbox 360 is to repair it yourself. Why? You will save at least $100 if your console has no more warranty left, and you will also save a lot of valuable gaming downtime. If you ship your console to Microsoft for repair, you could be waiting weeks, even months before you get a fully functional console back. Another problem is that you do not get the same Xbox 360 you sent away back, that means that if you happened to have left the hard drive inside, or a disk on the drive, you will not be able to get that back.

An Xbox 360 repair guide is necessary if you wish to fix the red lights yourself. These are collections of videos and written files that outline, step-by-step, how to determine the cause of the problem on your Xbox 360, as well as what you need to do to fix it in a safe, reliable and easy manner. The average price for a repair guide is around $30, and you won't need to spend any more money on top of that for things such as tools - everything you need can be found around the home. Although it is annoying having to pay money to fix your console, which shouldn't even be broken in the first place, it really would be a dumb idea to try and repair the problem yourself. You will risk injury to yourself and damage to your property without a repair guide.

Can Nintendo Make a Nintendo Wee Size System of the Nintendo Wii?

It's a question people have not thought of yet. Can Nintendo honestly make a smaller console system? They can the way they have been evolving. Look at the systems below how they have steadily been evolving in processing power, size, and general features.

Starting with the size of the Original Nintendo Entertainment System (Nes 8-bit). It was a very bulky system with a mess of cords. Still impressive for the first Nintendo Console. What it lacked in looks it made up for with sheer innovative ideas in the games. Nintendo produced thousands of original titles that caught on like wildfire.

Next came the Super Nintendo featuring a sleeker design to follow the Original. It was still bulky in weight and the same mess of cords. But the Super Nintendo had smaller games and a lighter weight compared to the Original. It was still an impressive jump from the 8-bit system to 16-bit system. It still captivated the audience to steadily build a fan base.

When the Nintendo 64 came out there was no real noticeable difference in size from the Super Nintendo and the controllers were the biggest yet. This system was solely to stun the fans with the groundbreaking 64-bit graphics and the same traditional titles. Some games to show the power of the Nintendo 64 were Mario 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

After the Nintendo 64 the designers were in a competition with Playstation's ideas to make their consoles as compact as possible. That was the birth of the Gamecube. This was the first system to feature a Wireless Controller (Wavebird).

Finally the Wii. It is completely wireless and the size of a 90's lunch box. From the way Nintendo is trying to compete with XBox and Playstation it is to be expected they will keep making more impressive systems with more impressive features. Look at the Ds it has the ability to play Nintendo 64 quality games in a very portable system. Great things to come!

LCD Flat Screen TV - Are 120Hz LCD Flat Screen TVs Worth The Extra Money?

If you have been looking at buying an LCD flat screen tv, no doubt you have read about the 120Hz models. You are probably wondering if the 120Hz models are worth the extra cost. The value of the 120hz feature has been widely debated in recent months. There are a number of things to consider before making your decision.

In the early days of the LCD vs Plasma tv wars, one of the biggest drawbacks to purchasing an LCD tv was that they were prone to motion blur and a somewhat choppy picture, especially in times when there was a lot of fast action such as sports or in movie scenes such as car chases. Although there has been a great deal of improvement over the years in the tvs ability to handle fast motion, LCD is still battling the stigma of not having as smooth of a picture as plasmas.

Enter the 120Hz tv. As a direct response, LCD manufacturers have incorporated 120Hz tvs into their newest tv models. These tvs have refresh rates that are twice as fast as the "standard" 60Hz models.

Those who are supporters of the 120Hz technology claim that the picture is noticeably smoother with crystal clear clarity, especially during fast action scenes or sports. Another benefit is the ability to produce an almost 3D-like picture.

On the other hand, others say that they can't notice a difference when comparing side to side with the "standard" 60Hz models. They feel that the 120Hz models are simply marketing gimmicks to sell higher priced tv.

So who is right? As usual there is a middle ground. Put simply, a 120Hz tv will take a standard 60Hz signal and simply replicate it twice which by itself does little to enhance the picture quality. The real difference is made when applying a video processing feature for motion enhancement. Each company has there own name for this process. For example, Samsung's feature is called AMP for Auto Motion Plus. This feature takes the screen and interpolates the image to provide a smoother picture to reduce judder.

Does the motion enhancement provide a more satisfactory picture? Again this is open to debate. Motion enhancement at its best provides a noticeably smoother, stable picture, free of jutter, motion blur and ghosting. Some describe gaming in 120Hz as making a 30 frames per second game look like a 60 frames per second game, while others are mesmerized by the ability to make sports and movies look live and 3D-like.

At its worst motion enhancement, especially during fast motion can introduce split second glitches in the picture called artifacts which can obviously be distracting. Others feel that while documentary type shows like Planet Earth can provide stunning stable live action shots, that motion enhancement takes away from the cinematic feel of movies by providing an almost too realistic, live tv or soap opera feel instead of a cinematic experience.

It is important to point out that motion enhancement can be turned on or off, so if you prefer to watch a movie without the motion enhancement you can simply turn it off.

For the time being the choice to go with a 120Hz LCD flat screen tv is purely one of personal choice and budget. Keep in mind that this is a very new technology and as with all new technologies there are still some things that need to be perfected. There is little debate that 120Hz is the wave of the future and that technology will only improve over time. If price is not of primary concern or if you can spare the extra dollars in an attempt to future proof your tv purchase then it would seem to make perfect sense to go with the additional features and benefits that a 120Hz LCD flat screen tv can offer. If price is a primary factor and you are working on a limited budget then one of the standard models would be a fine choice until the 120Hz models are perfected.

Virtual Real Worlds

In future work, play, and study will be transformed by the use of 3D models and environments. These environments and models will be created to be as realistic as possible by use of textures and perspectives that will provide the user with a sense of being there.

It has been forecast that these Virtual Worlds will revolutionize the way we shop made to measure will return as clothes will be produced to fit the individual. Virtual 3D museums will contain realistic recreations of the real thing; the great Pyramids, Taj Mahhal, great Wall of China, etc. will be experienced from your front room. A leisurely walk through Englands green and pleasant lands can be experienced with all the sights and sounds as of you were there.

Virtual conferencing will allow the participants to select an environment akin to the subject being discussed.

The latest generation have been exposed to this 3D environment or have experience of it most of their lives; to them it is quite natural and accept the virtual real world concept enthusiastically. They readily accept the possibility of people meeting in an environment of there choosing while being physically somewhere else in the real world; in fact they can't understand why it doesn't exist today.

This is discussed at greater length at web site www.mellanium.com

Ken has spent most of his life working in the aerospace industry. His interest in the Virtual Real World has been born out of a real need to access information easier and less painfully by using 3D models and environments. See http://mellanium.com/ for more information.

Guide to Adobe Reader

Adobe Reader is a software designed to securely view PDF documents. PDF stands for Portable Document Format and its biggest advantage is the fact that it has cross-platform compatibility. You can open a PDF file on a Linux computer, or Windows, or even on your mobile phone if it has Symbian. This format was created in 1993 by Adobe Systems, but because it was hard to make it popular in the beginning, Adobe decided to start releasing Adobe Reader for free, in order to beat the competition of other formats such as Common Ground Digital Paper, Envoy. Nowadays, PDF is the standard for printable documents and its widely used for publishing e-books. PDF has undergone a lot of changes and updates, eight in total, corresponding to the number of Adobe Reader versions, with 8.0 being the latest one.

A PDF file contains vector graphics (for shapes and lines), text and raster graphics (for photos). The latest PDF versions support hyperlinks inside the document, forms, JavaScript and there all types of plug-ins that can extend its functionality even further.

There are several advantages that have contributed to the popularity of PDF. It supports full-text search in the whole file. It produces files with smaller size, so you can upload your files on the Web without worrying about download times. The ability to optimize PDF files is another advantage. The navigation trough the documents is made really easy thanks to the clear interface, more on which you can read in this article.

A great benefit associated with Adobe PDF is the fact that such files look and print exactly as intended across a wide variety of platforms. The Adobe Reader software is free and easy to download from the official website or at http://www.freesecuredownloads.com/acrobat/index.html. Over the past years, it has gained tremendous popularity with more than 200 million downloads. Hence, it's the most effective way of distributing documents to a broad audience across a broad range of operating systems.

An inside look of a PDF file reveals that the structure consists of - header, body, cross-reference table, and trailer. The header holds the version of PDF. The body is the document itself with all objects that carry information, like fonts, images, words, etc. The cross-reference table is filled with pointers to all the objects in the PDF file. The trailer contains pointers to the xref table and to key objects contained in the trailer dictionary.

In order to create PDF files, you need Adobe Reader, but if you don't want to spend money on this software, you can download PDF creation program, and there are plenty of them available online. Adobe Acrobat though, is the most comprehensive tool allowing a single user to create and interact with PDFs. You can create files by scanning paper documents, which the software will renter as text, so you will be able to search trough it, or even edit it. Digital source of information are also an option. The paper-to-digital conversion is made possible with Adobe Capture, available in Personal or cluster Edition.

1. Navigating in Adobe Reader

To make the most out of this software, you need to get familiar with all its capabilities and interface. There is so much more than what you see at first glance.

Adobe Reader is available as a standalone application or it could be opened inside a browser window, but either way, the interface is almost the same. It consists of a document pane at the center that displays PDFs, and a navigation pane on the left holding buttons that allow you to navigate through the document.

-Creating PDF files:

As mentioned, there are different methods of actually creating PDF files, one of which is available through the Reader. Just go in the File menu Create Adobe PDF Online. Your IE browser will open http://createpdf.adobe.com. You must register for an account in order to use this service. Once logged in, click on Convert to Adobe PDF and browse to select the file on your local computer. Select the desired options and press Create PDF.

-Dealing with Toolbars:

First check if the Toolbars are unlocked by right-clicking on the main toolbar on top and see if the option Lock Toolbars is unchecked. You can move toolbars from side to side, you can choose which ones you like to hide or show and if you select the More Tools option, you will be given a list of all the available toolbars.

-Changing the View:

To change the navigation pane view, click one of the buttons to the left of the navigation pane. Should you want to convert a PDF file into a text document, go File > Save as Text, and the file will be saved with .txt extension. No content will be lost except for the images.

To use portions of the PDF content in other files, you can Copy and Paste the selected text. In case the Cut, Copy and Paste commands are not available, this means that the author of the document has set restrictions against copying the text.

Copy and Paste functions are not applicable just plain text, but for images as well. Using the Select Tool, draw a rectangle surrounding the given image, right click and select Copy.

3. Movies, Sounds and 3D models in PDF

PDF is a very rich format and it can include various multimedia features, like video clips, digital audio, and even 3D models that can readers can move, zoom in/out and examine piece by piece.

The Best Electric Razor I've Ever Used - The Philips Norelco 1050CC Arcitec Men's Shaving System

The Philips Norelco 1050CC Arcitec razor is fantastic. This is the first time I ever enjoyed shaving. Important Background Information before you read the rest of this review: I have used Norelco Electric razors for the past 20 years. I can not & will not use a blade razor as they cut and irritate my skin and I can't be half asleep using them! I've always used Norelco Electric razors because they've been fairly comfortable on my skin.

Please note that I shave myself the following way as I refuse to shave dry: Over the sink, I first splash lukewarm to warm water on my face then splash Williams Lectric (preElectric) Shave on my face then splash water once again on my face and then put my electric razor head under the water faucet for a second or two and then shave. That whole process takes just a few seconds & serves to lubricate my skin. I mention this because if you don't care for the way I shave, you might not get the same results shaving dry.

Specifically, I can not shave dry as it irritates my skin no matter what BS any Electric Razor Company including Norelco says and I get lousy dry shaves! Norelco says you are suppose to shave dry with this razor. I don't and get great results and that's all I care about. I've used this razor for about 10 months and I haven't had any problems, whatsoever. If somehow shaving this way eventually wears this razor down faster then it would shaving dry, big deal, I'll just get another one as I don't mind paying for comfort!

ANYWAY TO GET TO THE REVIEW YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR: After I fully charged the Philips Norelco 1050CC Arcitec Razor the first time, I was initially very skeptical & puzzled as I did not see any controls to adjust the razor for sensitive or normal skin. The fact is there aren't any which seems nuts. However, when I shaved I was in ecstasy as it was the fastest and most comfortable shave I've ever had. It felt like I was using a paint brush to go up & down- it was that smooth. I don't have the foggiest idea how or why it was this comfortably smooth & fast. The shave was pretty close too- not 100% perfect but as good as I've ever gotten with an electric razor including under my chin and on my neckline.

I'm not going to lie to you though, I've always had problems shaving under my chin and on my neckline, and while I can shave more hairs off this area then ever before with the Norelco Arcitec 1050cc and its non-irritating, there are still hairs I can't get off. I don't know if there is an electric razor in existence that can shave all the hair off this area without irritating your skin! So right now I'm saying if you want the fastest and most comfortable shave you ever had with decent results, get this razor or a razor in the Norelco Arcitec series.

Apparently from what I can gather, all the razors in this series are basically the same with different non-shaving features (i.e., color scheme, extra leds, razor cleaner, etc). This razor comes with an automatic cleaning system which is incredibly easy, works great and I use daily. You just put in the specific Norelco solution which will last 2-3 weeks & easily rest your Razor on the Jet Cleaner, push on the button & your razor is cleaned each day. It's almost fun to watch. I salute you, Norelco.

A great place to purchase electric razors at discount prices including the Norelco Arcitec 1050cc Electric Razor System is http://www.OrderItDiscount.com which I recommend. This website offers discounts on beauty and personal hair care products, electronics, computers and more.

Step Aside Tamagotchi, Here Comes Machicara!

You might remember that many years ago in 1996 there was something called Tamagotchi which took the world by storm. It was the first cyber pet to be introduced to the world and came in the form of an electronic device with a simple LCD screen and a few buttons to manipulate with.

The goal was to take good care of your Tamagotchi pet so that it grew up to be bigger, healthier and more beautiful. Neglecting it would result in it turning mean and ugly.

A world wide hit with millions of units sold worldwide and hundreds of licensed products under its belt, Tamagotchi sparked off a whole following of virtual pets after its launch. Many other variations were spawned and later even Sony came up with its own version in the form of Aibo - the robot dog.

One interesting thing to note is that most of these virtual pets hailed from the island of Japan . It might be because of the fact that the Japanese are incredibly lonely individuals and had a need to fulfill something within the missing bits of their lives, but that's another topic altogether.

In February 2008, a mobile phone middleware development company called Hi Corporation from Japan launched another interesting 'virtual pet' product called the Machicara. Running on a proprietary 3D engine platform called the Mascot Capsule, Machicara allows 3D rendered characters to 'live' in mobile handsets and perform tasks like announcing the arrivals of phone calls, text messages, upcoming events and the like. There are about 36 event-triggered animations the characters perform. Otherwise they just amble about doing random stuff.

The first mobile phone company to embed Machicara within their mobile phones is Sharp. Japan 's mobile service giant operator NTT DoCoMo provides the downloading infrastructure and backend support. Singapore animation companies Mediafreaks Cartoon and Character Farm have licensed their cartoon characters to Hi Corporation and Sharp in this collaboration.

There are talks that this would be the next big hit in Japan 's virtual pets community, with mobile phones being an essential tool of their lives and the fact that all Japanese girls love ultra cute stuff.

Let's keep our eyes peeled to see if Machicara stands up to its expectations.

If you Google for 'Singapore Cartoon Characters' you should be able to read a press release of the above collaboration.

This article was contributed by Aldric Chang - a creative businessman who is active in music composing and production, internet marketing, casual games production, animation production, cartoon production and character licensing. He's currently intent on growing his already successful 3D animation company - Mediafreaks - into a behemoth entertainment company.

Play Tetris Nintendo NES Game Online Free Right Now

Tetris is very innovative puzzle game that involves making lines with falling pieces. It was designed and programed by Alexey Pajitnov in Moscow, Russia. That also explains the crazy Russian music. But why did it become such a groundbreaking game?

That is because Nintendo and Tengen (Atari) were fighting for the rights to it. That was settled in that Nintendo got rights to console and handheld systems. Tengen got rights to Arcade Systems. Tetris was also the first original Gameboy game. So the phenomenon of Tetris were spreading like wildfire.

Nintendo kept putting out Tetris titles for their future systems which spread the legacy to the next generation of gamers. Today though since the Original Tetris and Nintendo became rarer to find it was looked for more online.

It is not difficult to find online but some websites follow the traditional Tetris ideas and themes better. On a rare occurrence you might be able to find a copy of Tengen Tetris which is the rarest Nintendo game ever created. That is due to copyright infringement with Nintendo's rights.

The game itself was popular because of the falling pieces to different handicaps and speeds. Also in some versions of Tetris the ability to play multi-player. The game was challenging to everyone regardless of age. The theme of the game gets repetitive after awhile so you can not play days on end. Besides that the game is overall a groundbreaking game in video game history.

So the reason to play Tetris can be summed up simply. It was the first truly groundbreaking puzzle game for the original Nintendo NES, Gameboy, and Tengen Arcade Machines.
